We're the only shop in the Salt Lake Valley sitting right at the junction of Big and Little Cottonwood Canyons. Pick up the night before and you'll be on the first chair instead of in a rental line.

Normal conditions. Storm days run longer, and UDOT restricts both canyons to AWD/4WD or chains — check udottraffic.utah.gov before you go.
If Your Feet Hurt, It's the Boots.
Most people ski in boots a full size too big, because a boot that feels comfortable in a shop is usually too roomy on the hill. We shell-fit every boot before we talk about anything else.
Shell punching, custom footbeds, canting, and liner molding — done in-house by fitters who ski the same snow you do. Fitting is included when you buy boots here.

We've been at this since 1982. The staff knows the snow, the gear, and how to get you out the door ready. Fort Union to the Snowbird base is about 18 minutes in normal conditions.

No. The Lifthouse does not sell lift tickets or discount lift tickets. Some third-party directory listings still say otherwise — buy your tickets or pass directly from the resort, or use an Ikon or Epic pass.
Yes. Our fitters assess your foot anatomy, test the shell fit, and customize the boot to eliminate pain and improve control. Boot fitting is included with boot purchases; custom modifications start at $100.
